„The Great Gatsby“ recording with Carl Davis

A number of unparalleled recordings were made under the direction of maestro Carl Davis and collaboration with sound engineers from London's renowned Abbey Road studios. The fruits of their efforts will be unveiled at performances of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in the United States.

„In one week in September 2019, the CNSO recorded, with brilliance and panache, a full length Tchaikovsky based ballet using rarely perfomed movements, followed by my own jazz age ballet based on „The Great Gatsby“. Their ability to move effortlessly from 19th century romantic music to contemporary is simply amazing. Long may they continue.
